1.Lord, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me.

2.Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.

5.I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.

3.परन्तु हे यहोवा, तू तो मेरे चारों ओर मेरी ढ़ाल है, तू मेरी महिमा और मेरे मस्तिष्क का ऊंचा करने वाला है।

4.मैं ऊंचे शब्द से यहोवा को पुकारता हूं, और वह अपने पवित्र पर्वत पर से मुझे उत्तर देता है।

5.मैं लेटकर सो गया; फिर जाग उठा, क्योंकि यहोवा मुझे सम्हालता है।

6.मैं उन दस हजार मनुष्यों से नहीं डरता, जो मेरे विरूद्ध चारों ओर पांति बान्धे खड़े हैं॥

7.उठ, हे यहोवा! हे मेरे परमेश्वर मुझे बचा ले! क्योंकि तू ने मेरे सब शत्रुओं के जबड़ों पर मारा है और तू ने दुष्टों के दांत तोड़ डाले हैं॥

1)Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

2)The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,

3)Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

4)He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall have them in derision.

5)Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

6)Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

7)I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

8)Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

9)Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

10)Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.

11)Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

12)Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

1)जाति जाति के लोग क्यों हुल्लड़ मचाते हैं, और देश देश के लोग व्यर्थ बातें क्यों सोच रहे हैं?

2)यहोवा के और उसके अभिषिक्त के विरूद्ध पृथ्वी के राजा मिलकर, और हाकिम आपस में सम्मति करके कहते हैं, कि

3)आओ, हम उनके बन्धन तोड़ डालें, और उनकी रस्सियों अपने ऊपर से उतार फेंके॥

4)वह जो स्वर्ग में विराजमान है, हंसेगा, प्रभु उन को ठट्ठों में उड़ाएगा।

5)तब वह उन से क्रोध करके बातें करेगा, और क्रोध में कहकर उन्हें घबरा देगा, कि

6)मैं तो अपने ठहराए हुए राजा को अपने पवित्र पर्वत सिय्योन की राजगद्दी पर बैठा चुका हूं।

7)मैं उस वचन का प्रचार करूंगा: जो यहोवा ने मुझ से कहा, तू मेरा पुत्रा है, आज तू मुझ से उत्पन्न हुआ।

8)मुझ से मांग, और मैं जाति जाति के लोगों को तेरी सम्पत्ति होने के लिये, और दूर दूर के देशों को तेरी निज भूमि बनने के लिये दे दूंगा।

9)तू उन्हें लोहे के डण्डे से टुकड़े टुकड़े करेगा। तू कुम्हार के बर्तन की नाईं उन्हें चकना चूर कर डालेगा॥

10)इसलिये अब, हे राजाओं, बुद्धिमान बनो; हे पृथ्वी के न्यायियों, यह उपदेश ग्रहण करो।

11)डरते हुए यहोवा की उपासना करो, और कांपते हुए मगन हो।

12)पुत्र को चूमो ऐसा न हो कि वह क्रोध करे, और तुम मार्ग ही में नाश हो जाओ; क्योंकि क्षण भर में उसका क्रोध भड़कने को है॥ धन्य हैं वे जिनका भरोसा उस पर है॥

3) And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

4) The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

5) Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

6) For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

1) क्या ही धन्य है वह पुरूष जो दुष्टों की युक्ति पर नहीं चलता, और न पापियों के मार्ग में खड़ा होता; और न ठट्ठा करने वालों की मण्डली में बैठता है!

2) परन्तु वह तो यहोवा की व्यवस्था से प्रसन्न रहता; और उसकी व्यवस्था पर रात दिन ध्यान करता रहता है।

3) वह उस वृक्ष के समान है, जो बहती नालियों के किनारे लगाया गया है। और अपनी ऋतु में फलता है, और जिसके पत्ते कभी मुरझाते नहीं। इसलिये जो कुछ वह पुरूष करे वह सफल होता है॥

4) दुष्ट लोग ऐसे नहीं होते, वे उस भूसी के समान होते हैं, जो पवन से उड़ाई जाती है।

5) इस कारण दुष्ट लोग अदालत में स्थिर न रह सकेंगे, और न पापी धर्मियों की मण्डली में ठहरेंगे;

6) क्योंकि यहोवा धर्मियों का मार्ग जानता है, परन्तु दुष्टों का मार्ग नाश हो जाएगा॥

2)हे यहोवा, मुझ पर अनुग्रह कर, क्योंकि मैं कुम्हला गया हूं; हे यहोवा, मुझे चंगा कर, क्योंकि मेरी हडि्डयों में बेचैनी है।

3)मेरा प्राण भी बहुत खेदित है। और तू, हे यहोवा, कब तक?

4)लौट आ, हे यहोवा, और मेरे प्राण बचा अपनी करूणा के निमित्त मेरा उद्धार कर।

5)क्योंकि मृत्यु के बाद तेरा स्मरण नहीं होता; अधोलोक में कौन तेरा धन्यवाद करेगा?

6)मैं कराहते कराहते थक गया; मैं अपनी खाट आंसुओं से भिगोता हूं; प्रति रात मेरा बिछौना भीगता है।

7)मेरी आंखें शोक से बैठी जाती हैं, और मेरे सब सताने वालों के कारण वे धुन्धला गई हैं॥

8)हे सब अनर्थकारियों मेरे पास से दूर हो; क्योंकि यहोवा ने मेरे रोने का शब्द सुन लिया है।

9)यहोवा ने मेरा गिड़गिड़ाना सुना है; यहोवा मेरी प्रार्थना को ग्रहण भी करेगा।

10)मेरे सब शत्रु लज्जित होंगे और बहुत घबराएंगे; वे लौट जाएंगे, और एकाएक लज्जित होंगे॥
